You know what it's like when you're used to using sharp blades, they just work.

I needed to borrow a customers 5" kitchen knife the other day to cut some Floor Protection along the length of the 8x4 sheet. Well i gently tried the edge with my thumb as you do, and thought thats going to struggle to cut air that it...

So half a dozen strokes on each side on the diamond stone and it's acceptable.
Custard comes home and starts using it to prep dinner and I just hear a "wow".
I don't get how people let their knives get so blunt, the trend for things like granite and slate cutting boards and plates has a lot go answer for.
