What is your tipple??

Three monkeys single malt is a rare one. Monkey shoulder is a much more common blended scotch that is bloody good.
I’m actually a big fan of blended scotches as opposed to single malt, you can get a real variety of subtle tastes (assuming you don’t add cola or lemonade 😖)

I got given a large bottle of monkey shoulder from a lad who was advertising it at a party I was at about 10 years ago (give or take a couple of years) long story short, we both got pissed 😂 the words legend and have a futin bottle mate was said and off I went home with a very large bottle 😁 ended up giving it to the father in law for coving out my house.

I don’t have a single tipple; I will drink pretty much anything apart from brandy.

I favour red wines and quality lagers; I highly recommend the Aldi knock off lagers, their German pilsner is excellent as is St Etienne (Stella copy).

For a BBQ it has to be Cider. ( for everything it has to be cider)
When I worked in the East of England many moons ago there used to be a local brewer, not far from Long Melford, that brewed this gorgeous deep pink cider. They called it "Route 66" it was amazing stuff! Never found or had it since. But even 20 years later I can close my eyes and still remember the taste.

And if I've been really good and worked really hard one year, I'll very very rarely get myself a bottle of this:

Otherwise it's Afon Mêl mead.

Mornin’ all

My wife and I enjoy the odd Gin and tonic ( it’s medicinal, quinine you know) but we also sink the occaisional Mojito too. Cocktails clinking on ice preferred in these equatorial climes.

Obviously The Boy isn’t a drinker but he does enjoy sucking on a light beer if allowed.
