I sleep cold, it's an age thing, I am more like a woman in this respect now (no offence to the ladies). I am fed up with spending the night sleepless and shivering, this was putting me off going on this trip. Time to do something about it methinks! So I've just pushed the button on a nice artic sleeping bag from Mountain Equipment. Comfort zone down to -13c, so I should be alright - and I still have a thermal inner liner should it prove necessary.

Fingers crossed it will be a good year for the snow.....(as far as camping goes).....not everybody welcomes it though

It's a OneTigris Tegimen, think it's the same as Matt's. I'm sat on a refund from a tent I sent back, so it's not too painful in the wallet.

A friend of mine, @Andy Cawthorne , joined the Forum on Saturday. He and his lady friend will be in Scotland in January doing a tour in his campervan. Says they'll try to pop by and say 'Hello' if they can. We'd best keep the kettle hot!
