After 2 long years of misery the council have finally found me a lovely 2 bed roomed bungalow with a nice back garden for the dogs and a beautifully manicured front lawn.
Living as I am at the moment in a ground floor flat right beside the front door to the block is a bloody nightmare with inconsiderate young neighbours coming in at all hours of the night and letting the door slam behind them.
Another bone of contention is having to pay a clean up charge because persons unknown dump old beds and at one time a washing machine in the recycling bin area which the council will not remove and so the housing association have to send in a clean up.
Although I'm glad to be moving there is a down side in that I'll be doing all the work myself with very little help. A plus is my Meriva and I know from when I move in here just how much I can pack into that car. So wish me luck folks

That's great news Joe! Good luck with the move. 🍀

Awesome news Joe!
Having lived in a block of flats from January 2022 until this January, I can sympathise entirely with your current housing situation. When's the house warming? 😉😁
Morning mate hopefully we should get the phone call sometime today and then the hard work starts
