Hey a tip on gunked up, sludgy fuel systems. Once you clean a carby and fuel system you can pour in that fuel system cleaner stuff ( injector cleaner) or you can run some good old fashioned leaded gas to clean it through. Not sure if that is an available or legal in UK, I use avgas and it works a dream….

A grease monkey told me this and it was priceless advice….

I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I've had many short term employments over the last 20 years, but I'm like a sponge. I absorb all the knowledge I can from every experience, was a tyre and exhaust fitter when I was 17 and I learned some basic mechanics and auto electrics. Hopefully I can use that knowledge to get me going, if not I too will be leaving it to the experts and hiring an auto electrician.

But not until next year, if I have to pay someone, it will be after the Scotland meet in January 😉

That's a good tip, we have redex here in UK for fuel system cleaner. 2 separate ones for diesel and petrol

If you decide to give us a flying visit just be careful of the drive, it’s covered in slippy leaves. I’d hate to be driving you home again in a plaster cast.. I wouldn’t want to have to explain that to Em either.

If I fell off and broke something, you'd be better off doing a mercy killing, if I went home injured I'd be a eunuch and singing soprano 😳 I stupidly told Em the story of my accident in 2012, she now hates the fact I'm going back to riding 🙄
