Flood alert for the River Wye today but it didn’t amount to much. I have a new back door for the house arriving tomorrow and I’m wiring in some garage lighting (it’s only been waiting to be done for the last 16 years)

It’s overcast here but not particularly cold, there was a lot of rain overnight though. The ground is wet and the rivers are full but everything seems fine for the moment.

Special day for me today. Birthday!!!!
Spending it in style with a two night staycation in the big smoke with my gorgeous wife. The Boy has gone to digs elsewhere. This is the first time my wife and I have been away in town together in more than a year.
We spent an hour in the pool drinking cocktails with another couple. He was a circus performer and she was a Boeing 777 pilot.
My wife has just now given me a present. Im going to share it with you blokes because it’s totally unexpected. She bought me LEGO!!!
It’s a new LEGO Special edition. Pic below.
It’s got over 2300 pieces!
