2023 FISHING COMPETITION

It’s definitely on the cards mike 😁 I’ve heard that Ireland is the place for fishing
My grandad used to go twice a year with a minibus of mates, he was forever singing its praise. Been to NI and the borders a few times working but never fished there. Stunning place once away from urban bits. Would like to fish there one day but probably won't.

apparently a bad days fishing in Ireland is like a great days fishing in the uk , I really want to test that statement lol could happen as my cousin has moved over there , might have to start talking to him again 😂

Here are some fish caught by myself and my wife from our last two outings. We also had a nice mix of perch and roach but nothing worth a picture
 
Chatting to a bloke on the banks of the Irfon and he had just landed the biggest chub I’ve seen down there. Having seen photographic proof I can vouch that it was the size of a big blokes forearm.
