Cook in a slow cooker or casserole dish on low heat for 1 hour
Add chunky cut vegetables of your choice
Slow cook for a further 3 hours topping with water and stirring when needed.
- 2 Rabbits (sectioned)
- 2 chicken stock cubes
- 2 Mugs of red split Lentils
- Pepper to taste (best from pepper corns)
- Piri piri & a little cayenne pepper (Optional)
- Salt to taste
- Mixed herbs or bouquet-garni
- 1 Clove of garlic (crushed)
- 1/2 a tube of tom puree (about 4 table spoons)
- 4 bacon rashers (sliced)
- 4 German smoked sausage "sliced" (Optional)
- 1 1/2 pints of water
