This is a regular favourite of mine with a definite east European flavour...
Ingredients:
Method:
Chop the onions and place in a large pan with a little cooking oil. Heat till the onions are just starting to cook. Add the garlic fine chopped and the rabbit in jointed portions. Cook for a few more minutes and then add the paprika, stir for no more than 1 minute so as not to burn the paprika and add the can of chopped tomato's. Use the now empty can as a measure and fill with water and add. Add a pinch of Salt and bring to the boil, turn down to a simmer.
After 30 mins add the potato roughly cubed. Cook for a further hour or so until the potato is cooked and the meat practically falling off the bone. Five minutes before serving add the teaspoon of sugar.
Serve on a bed of Pasta.
That's it ... enjoy
